How to Speed Up a WooCommerce Store

Fix images first

Compress product images, use modern formats and lazy load anything below the fold. Heavy images are the most common cause of slow product pages.

Cut plugin bloat and use caching

Remove plugins you do not need, keep the theme lean and add solid page caching. Every script you remove saves time on mobile.

Test the checkout separately

A fast homepage with a slow cart still loses sales. Test cart and checkout on a real phone and fix anything that lags.
